Chocolate cake with orange

A real classic cake. If you dont want the orange juice in the cake you can just add 1 dl. more water. There is a lot of sugar in, but this is a big cake.

Dainish apple “cake”

This is not really a cake, but that is what we call it. I don’t now much about the history of this recipe, but you also made this applecake back in the old days.

this “cake” concist of apples that have been cut uo in pices and boiled, Vanilla cake mix (this is what I like) and macaroons or sweet bread cumbs.

I wan’t to give you my take on it, beacuse there is so many variation on it. This is just how we make it in our family.

This is not at all healthy, but it is sure delicious

4 apples/500 g.
1- 2 teaspoons Vanilla sugar
Vanilla cake powder mix
5 dl. milk
whipped cream

First you need to make your Vanilla cake powder mix. We use this stuff alot in birthday cakes. What you need to do is read the instructions. I made mine with 5 dl. milk and then I put in the powder cake mix and mixed it for 1 minut. Then it have to set for 20 minutes at least. Then it becomes almost like a pudding consistency.

Then cut and core your apples. Mine apples were super big, so there was probably more apple compot than needed. After that you want to cut your apples in small pieces, If you cut them big it is going to be harder to smash them up. When you have cut your apples, you want to put them in a pot with water it should almost cover the apples, but it must not be over the apples because then you are left with a watery compot (and we don’t want to drink from a straw) You also want to put in the vanilla sugar. set it to boil on medium heat for about 30 minutes. you should check on it every 10 minutes. You know your apples are ready when you can smash them up with a spoon.

You want to let the compot cool before asembling.

Now layer the apple compot, cake mix and cumblet macaroons. Repeat this until you have no more apple compot (I managed to get 2 layers of this)

Whip up some whipped cream and top the cake with it.

Have you ever tried Apple cake like this, if so how did you make it?
write it in the comment section, I would love to know.

The best recipe on fluffy and foolproof buns

This recipe is so easy and have never failed me. These bun are super delisious, fluffy and seriously addicting. They are best right out of the oven with a little bit of butter.

I have actually gotten this recipe from my grandmother from a long time ago, because this recipe was so good that i had to make it myself.

I can’t even tell how much I love theese buns, they are just that delisious.
They are great for birthdays with a cup of coco, or for breakfast.

I really wanted to share this recipe with you guys, beacuse I want you to make them aswell. And then you will see why I am so addicted to theese.

I generally love to bake, and try out new recipes, but when you have one that works, you never throw that away.

Ingrediens you need:

50 g. fresh yeast
3 dl. milk
500. g. flour
1 egg
A pinch of salt
50 g. sugar
100 g. butter

Melt the butter, when the butter is melted add the milk. This butter and milk mixture need to be lukewarm. I have this rule, if you can touch it without burning yourself it is good(It needs to be warm so it activate the yeast, but not so hot that it kills the yeast).
Add the mixture to a bowl and crumble the yeast in and melt the yeast. add the egg, sugar and salt and whisk it in.
Put in the flour. The dough maybe needs a bit more or a bit less depending on the room tempature. Mine dough needed as bit more. This dough should be a little sticky but not too much.
Let the dough rise for an hourh, it should rise double it size.

When the dough has risen, turn on your oven to 180 degrees celcius. Form the buns.
I made about 12 bun, beacuse I made them pretty big, but you can make them smaller if you want.
Bake them for 8 to 10 minutes.

I hope you give this recipe a try, because it is just too good not too.
If you give this recipe a try put it on instagram and hashtag it with #foodwithguldbrand

As you can see from the photos this mascara gives a lot of lenght.
I have only applied one coat beause i’ve have found that if you put on a second layar it starts to clump, and we don’t want that.
A really good mascara!
